The Oregon Historical Society is now announcing the exhibit "OHSU: 125 Years of Healing, Teaching and Discovery" opening on March 14th.
Last month was a flurry of activity as we prepared artifacts, photographs, and a/v recordings for the exhibit, and provided feedback on the narrative text and design. We are now in the final stages of working with the exhibit's steering committee, curator, and designers to make the exhibit a memorable success!

A guide to books used for History of Medicine I in the School of Medicine is now available as a LibGuide. Like the History of Medicine I class itself, this is an evolving and wide-ranging resource. The book list is arranged by lecture topic, and includes links to catalog records you can use to learn more about the books. This guide also provides a nice overview of many of the highlights in our History of Medicine collection - All books used in the class are available for research.
For more information about some of these books and how they're used for teaching and instruction, see the series of: "In the Classroom" posts from 2011-2012.
